Ali Cansun received his B.Sc. and MSc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from İstanbul Technical University in 1991 and 1994, respectively. Mr. Cansun worked as research assistant at ITU from 1992 to 1997. From 1997 to 2001, he worked for Uzel Makina as an Investment Engineer, and from 2001 to 2004, for Uzel-Deutz Motor Company as Engine Assembly Line Specialist. He has worked for Uzel Makina as Agricultural Implements R&D Manager from 2004 to 2008. Ali Cansun has worked for Repkon Makina as an Engineering Department Manager between 2008 and 2011. From 2011 to 2014 Mr. Cansun has worked as Deputy General Manager at Keramik Makina and from 2014 to 2021, he worked as Director of R&D Group at Polin Waterparks. 

Cansun is Composite Product & Technology Development Manager at SU-IMC since January 2022.
