Dr. Leila Haghighi Poudeh has received her BSc degree in Materials Science and Engineering/Ceramics from Tabriz University, Iran in 2010. She completed her MSc in Materials Science and Engineering/Ceramics at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2014 and received her Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Nano Engineering from Sabanci University in 2018. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at SU-IMC.
Her doctoral study was focused on the development of graphene-based hybrid composites for energy storage devices. With a strong background on the materials characterization techniques, she successfully delivered several academic and industrial Tübitak projects during her Ph.D. study. Besides, she has published several research articles and book chapter related to her work and attended various international conferences.
The current research focus of Dr. Poudeh involves thermoplastic polymers, graphene-based materials, advanced polymeric composites, and multi-functional structural super capacitors.
